FLIGHT CREDENTIALS
Since it’s not smart to jump into an airplane with just anyone let me offer my aviation experience.
- Flying since 1972
- About 12,000 hours total time in the air
- Single engine land rating
- Multi-engine rating
- Instrument rating (fly in the clouds)
- Recurrent training every six months at Flight Safety International, three days of simulator and ground school.
I am a member of two flying clubs; The international Comanche Society www.comancheflyer.com and the Baja Bush Pilots Association, www.bushpilots.com. The Comanche Society has chapters in the US and in Europe.
SHORT HISTORY OF ADVENTURE TRIPS I'VE TAKEN
- Crossed the North Atlantic four times to Europe and four times back with stops in N.W. territories in Canada. Stops in Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Spitzbergin, Sweden. Spitzbergin is 80 degrees North, i.e., 600 miles from the North Pole.
- From Stockholm to St. Petersburg, Russia
- All around central Europe
- Stockholm to Israel, through Greece
- Egypt, Luxor
- Gibraltar
- Czech Republic, Prague
- Greece, Crete and Rhode
THIS SIDE OF THE ALANTIC
- Many trips into the Bahamas
- Most of the Caribbean Islands
- Central America
- Mexico
- The Canadian Arctic around Hudson Bay
